PRIME MINISTER NGIRENTE ATTENDED THE 5TH EDITION OF KUSI IDEAS FESTIVAL IN BOTSWANA

Gaborone, December 07, 2023- Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente represented His Excellency President Paul Kagame at the 5th Edition of KUSI ideas Festival.

This two-day Festival took place at the Royal Aria Conference, in Gaborone, Botswana under the theme: “Africa’s Agenda 2063: Making The Dream Come True”.

Prime Minister Ngirente attended the opening ceremony and took part in a presidential roundtable on the Journey to 2063: Presidential perspectives.

This roundtable also featured President Mokgweetsi Masisi of Botswana, President Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe as well as Doto Biteko, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy of Tanzania.

In his intervention, Prime Minister shared Rwanda’s development trajectory with participants and cited inclusive planning and accountable governance as key ingredients for sustained growth.

Present Heads of State stressed the need for more efforts in implementing Agenda 2063 and highlighted the urgency of moving to action to make it a reality.
